Instead, Rose acts as a hands-on agent – sourcing and vetting the necessary contractors and buyers in an effort to bring our clients’ assets to market in a safe, efficient and profitable manner. Our flat published management fees align our financial interests with our clients.

Vendor Vetting and Proprietary Rating Process
A subset, but important part of the Rose service offering, is vendor vetting. Many of our clients are unaware of what makes a good vendor for a specific project. Rose facilitates the entire process, which includes an unbiased vendor vetting process coupled with our proprietary rating system.
Benefits include deploying the exact combination of resources required by the project including: vendor selection, equipment, sales channels, transportation and industry experience and knowledge. The goals are to maximize customer revenues and client experience in the process and minimize the expense and exposure to environmental risks/liabilities.
Our vetting process goes through a 12-step evaluation that matches the project requirements, client interests and optimal value. This best ensures that the resources deployed are the resources needed to get your asset to market safely, efficiently and profitably.
The criteria below are used to create a Rose Vendor Rating Score (VRS) in order to evaluate and recommend the most appropriate vendor for each contractor category such as demo contractor, transporter, processor (mobile and fixed).
Criteria sample:
- Specific project experience
- Possible industry segment “sweet spots”
- Average project size by ton and by dollar amount
- Certifications/qualifications best practices assessment
- Protocols and plans in place, (e.g., SWPP, Lock Out/Tag Out, HAZMAT, etc.)
- Safety manual/program
- Scrap segregation assessment (downgrades/rejections)
- Customer satisfaction assessment (previous/Rose assessment)
- Data quality, timeliness
- Experience as a general contractor, partner, sub
- Equipment list
- Geographic area served
- Other vetting service reports (e.g. ISNetworld)
